Remarks
A. Gray, the publishing author, ascribed the name and its validating description to Bentham. Barneby (Mem. New York Bot.¹Gard. 65: 97. 1991) cited the date of collection as Aug¹[1859]; the year 1859 is probably a typographical error¹for 1849
