Remarks
Hassler (Bull. Herb. Boissier ser. 2, 7: 738. 1907) published Pavonia hastata var. genuina f. longifolia, as a new combination based on P. hastata var. pubescens f. longifolia Gurke. However, in the present Code, what were published as quadrinomials or pentanomials, are treated as trinomials; thus, the names published by Gurke and by Hassler are listed as: P. hastata forma longifolia. Hassler's intended new combination is treated as a later isonym.
