Remarks
Protologue includes 2 collections: (1847) May, June, in flower and fruit. Raven & Gregory cited the May collection at GH as the holotype and its duplicates elsewhere as isotypes (correctable errors for lectotype & isolectotype; cf., Vienna Code Art. 9.8). Wagner et al. (Syst. Bot. Monogr. 83: 214. 2007) cited the May collection at MO as the holotype (an error).
