Remarks

Remarks: Mottram inadvertently designated Pringle 8531 as the lectotype (an error for neotype). He mentioned that the (original) type Pringle 3679, 17 Oct. 1890; Gray Herb. (lost). [Pringle 3679 was made in 1891; vide protologue (an error?).] Pringle 3679, 17 Oct. 1890 exists at GH (not lost); therefore, Mottram's inadvertent designation of a NT. is superfluous. (type verified by K. N. Gandhi, IPNI).
