Status: nom. illeg. nom. superfl. For their new name R. pluribracteatus, Lu & Boufford cited the replaced synonym R. multibracteatus H. Lév. & Vaniot (in Bull. Soc. Etud. Sci. Angers 11: 99. 1902, not Boulay & Pierret ex Rouy & E.G. Camus 1900). However, under R. pluribracteatus var. pluribracteatus, the authors cited R. andropogon H. Lév. (10 Feb 1910), R. clinocephalus Focke (1910), R. major Focke (1911), and R. mallodes Focke (1910) as synonyms (see Shenzhen Code Art. 7 Exs. 6, 7)
