Remarks
Janchen (in Feddes Repert. Spec. Nov. Regni Veg. 53: 68. 1944) proposed to conserve R. pimpinellifolia and reject R. spinosissima. His proposal was not accepted. The Linnaean Plant Name Typification Project treats R. spinosissima as an accepted name.
