doi:10.3897/phytokeys.193.80715 Etymology: Actinostephanus: Greek, actis (actino-, combining form), ray, and stephanos, crown, garland, alluding to occurrence of actinomorphic corolla, a rare character in China's Gesneriaceae. Only three species are hitherto known to have actinoform corolla in China, namely Bournea sinensis Oliv., B. leiophylla (W.T.Wang) W.T.Wang & K.Y.Pan, and Oreocharis esquirolii H.Lév.
