Remarks
The name Solanum stoloniferum was published by Schlechtendal (in Linnaea 8(2): 255. pre-July 1833) with a short protologue and by Schlechtendal and Bouché (in Verh. Vereins Beford. Gartenbaues Konigl. Preuss. Staaten 9(19): 319. 1833) with a detailed protologue. In both publications, S. stoloniferum is distinguished from S. tuberosum L. The Linnaea publication is treated here as having priority.
