Remarks

Wallich ascribed both the diagnosis and description of Pyrus indica to Colebrooke, but did not ascribe the species name to anyone; since Wallich is the author of the publication, he is accepted as the author of the species name (cf., Shenzhen Code Art. 46 Ex. 3)
