Hooker, the publishing author, ascribed the name and its validating diagnosis simultaneously in a paragraph ending with - Douglas MSS.; Hooker did not elaborate on the dash (-) sign (cf. Vienna Code Art. 46.3 Ex. 14). Ledeb. (Fl. Ross. 2: 201. 1843) treated Douglas's publication as having priority over Bongard's publication of this name.
