Remarks
Although Webster referred to Paspalum platyphyllum Griseb. 1866 (non Schultes 1827) as the basionym, his reference is treated as a bibliographical error for Panicum platyphyllum Munro ex C. Wright (1871); the latter is a nom. nov. for the former.
