Nomenclatural Notes
Status: isonym “Anchusa zeylanica Vahl ex Hornem. (1807)” was invalidly published (nom. nud.). Later, the name was independently validated by Jacquin (1812) and by Hornemann (1813). Jacquin made a reference to Hornemann’s 1807 publication. Since the type of the Jacquin name was not excluded by Hornemann (1813), his validly published name is treated as an isonym
