Remarks
Protologue includes 3 syntypes (Sierra Co. (Lemmon) and adjacent mountains of Nevada (Watson) ; the original collected by Lyall on the Upper Columbia, in fruit only.). Barneby cited the Lemmon 77 specimen at GH as the holotype and thus inadvertently lectotypified the varietal name.
