Remarks
Hooker & Arnott (in Bot. Beechey Voy. pt. 8: 362. Jan-Mai 1839) published the name Fraxinus dipetala, provided a description, and listed the plate no. 87; the authors published the plate, labelled as ‘Ornus dipetala’, in pt. 9, dated Feb-Mar 1840; thus, O. dipetala was inadvertently published as the name of a new combination based on F. dipetala.
