Remarks
The basionym epithet ruelloides is derived from the generic name Ruellia and the suffix -oides, and Sprengel corrected the epithet to “ruellioides”. Since ruelloides is a compound epithet derived from a noun and a suffix, no correction is needed to the basionym epithet (see ICN Art. 60 Ex. 23)
